7. The Münsterberg Tower

One of the four towers at the entrance to the town. It was built in the mid-14th century in parallel with the construction of the mediaeval fortifications. A brick, Gothic tower with typical holes in the walls – traces of the original scaffolding. A statue of a stone lion is built into the tower’s façade, according to legend brought from a wartime raid to Münsterberg (today Ziębice).
